Why racon position appear more than actual?
Radar beacon. Give range and bearing. Like a transponder that emits characteristics signal when triggered by radar pulse. In racon, the radar transponder beacon receive radar pulse, amplify, and then re-transmit. So, there is a time delay. Due to this time delay, the racon position appear to be more than actual position.
