Operation and alarm sequence
When ship underway, Alert the OOW.
Works on preset time limit.
Range: 3-12 minutes
First Stage Alert: after preset time limit, BNWAS will show visual indication, if not reset – after 15 second BNWAS will give audible alarm.
Second Stage Alert: if not reset then BNWAS will give audible alarm in officer or master bedroom after 15 second.
Third Stage Alert: if not reset then BNWAS will give audible alarm at remote space or crew space after 90 second.
BNWAS Alarm alternative
BNWAS can give second and third Stage Alert at the same time in vessel other than passenger vessel.
The time delay between the second and third Stage Alert maybe set up to 3 minute.

Cargo ships 150 gt and above and passenger ships of any size constructed on or after 1 July 2011.
Passenger ships of any size constructed before 1 July 2011, but not later than the first survey after 1 July 2012.
Cargo ships of 3,000 gt and above constructed before 1 July 2011, but not later than the first survey after 1 July 2012.
Cargo ships of 500 gt and above but less than 3,000 gt constructed before 1 July 2011, but not later than the first survey after 1 July 2013.
