SSAS alert signal, activation, SSAS Regulation

SSAS
For safety and security. When a ship is at high Risk.
SSAS sends a special alert signal from ship to shore.
SSAS does not raise any alarm on board ship nor alert other ships.
The ship owner first receive SSAS alert signal then passed to the flag. They will inform other authority.

Ships constructed on or after 1 July 2004.
Passenger ships including high-speed craft constructed before 1 July 2004 but not later than at the first survey of the radio installation after 1 July 2004.
Tankers and cargo ship of 500 GT and above constructed before 1 July 2004 but not later than at the first survey of the radio installation after 1 July 2004.
Other cargo ships of 500 GT and above constructed before 1 July 2004 and mobile offshore drilling units but not later than at the first survey of the radio installation after 1 July 2006.
